PlantLux works by using the light sensor on you phone to measure lux, which is the official measurement for light intensity on a surface. The app also contains a vast number of common and uncommon houseplants and their recommended lux values, and lets you easily search to look up your plant.
The app is made as simple and user-friendly as possible with no nonsense, just straight to the point measure and look-up. It has a function for measuring the average value in a given period and then saving that value, so it's easier to remember the value when searching for plants. For the price of a small coffee you can unlock the ad-free "PlantLuxPro" version that frees up some space in the search list.
