Expert Review & Analysis
I downloaded Smash Blast yesterday because I wanted something quick to play on my commute. It's basically a carnival can-knockdown game where you aim a cannon. The physics are actually pretty fun, when you hit the bottom of a big stack and watch the whole thing collapse it is super satisfying. I found myself just tapping the restart icon a bunch of times just to try and get a perfect chain reaction with only one ball.
But teh game definitely has some rough edges. The aiming line can be really twitchy on my screen, especially when I'm trying to make tiny adjustments for those tight angles. Also, its annoying that there is no option in the settings menu to turn off the haptic vibration. My phone buzzes like crazy every single time a can falls and it drains my battery so fast. A simple toggle button for that would be nice. Still, a decent little time killer if you just want to zone out for ten minutes.
