Expert Review & Analysis
I downloaded Ring Master a few days ago to have something to mess around with during my commute. The 3d ring puzzles are surprisingly addicting once you get into a rhythm. Its really satisfying when you spin the whole structure around, line up the little gap, and finally pop a piece free. Played it on the subway yesterday since it works offline fine, which was a huge plus.
The controls are mostly good but I keep accidentally rotating the entire puzzle when I'm just trying to grab one specific piece. The hitboxes feel a bit off on the smaller shapes. Also, there's way to many ads between the levels. You finish a puzzle in like twenty seconds and then have to sit through a thirty second video unless you hit the no ads button to buy the paid version.
It's a decent brain teaser to kill time, but teh constant ad interruptions kinda ruin the relaxing vibe. Still on my phone for now though.
