TRACK WHAT MATTERS TO YOU
Log what’s relevant to your IBS journey—whether it’s bloating, excess gas, abdominal pain, meals, exercise, bowel movements, mood, sleep, stress, or medications and supplements. Tummily is fully customisable, so you only track what matters to you. Your health is unique, and your diary should be too.

LEARN WHAT MAKES YOUR SYMPTOMS BETTER OR WORSE
Your personalised insights graph gives you a clear view of how your symptoms change over time. Connect the dots between triggers, treatments, and flare-ups, and see which habits help or hinder your gut health. The more you track, the more Tummily reveals—making it easier to predict, understand, and calm flare-ups.

PREPARE FOR YOUR NEXT MEDICAL APPOINTMENT
Did you know it takes an average of 6 years to get an IBS diagnosis?! We’re here to change that. Tummily helps you clearly communicate what’s happening in your body by turning your daily logs into a simple, exportable PDF report. Share it with your doctor or dietitian to give them a clear view of your symptoms, meals, triggers, and trends. Your identifying details are stripped out, and you stay in control of who sees your data. Feel prepared, save time in appointments, and get the care you deserve.

DATA PRIVACY
We take data privacy seriously. Your data belongs to you, and we keep it safe and securely encrypted on our servers. You control who sees your health information. We never sell your personal data. You can delete your data anytime—email hello@tummilyapp.com

ADVOCATING FOR OUR COMMUNITY
Tummily was founded by leading IBS dietitian Chelsea McCallum (APD). After helping thousands overcome debilitating symptoms through her digital clinic, Chelsea envisioned scaling that 1:1 support into a tool that could reach more people, more affordably.

She grew frustrated seeing the needs of this community overlooked and dismissed. “I’ve lost count of the number of clients told to just ‘eat more fibre’, ‘relax, it’s all in your head’, or ‘live with it, nothing can be done’,” says McCallum. Time and again, patients arrived with scattered symptom notes and no clarity about what was driving their pain, or what they could do to feel better.

Determined to change this, Chelsea created Tummily, an evidence-based digital tool designed to make personalised IBS support more accessible for everyone who needs it.

“Managing IBS can be life-changing. I’ve seen it time and again,” says McCallum. “Tummily puts evidence-based support in your pocket so you can spend less time guessing and more time living.”

Expert Review & Analysis

Given the "Tummily: Gut & IBS Tracker" app has a 0/5 rating, it’s impossible to base this review on actual usage. Therefore, this assessment is based solely on the app's description provided in the Google Play Store.

Tummily aims to be a comprehensive gut health and IBS management tool. Its primary function is to allow users to track various aspects of their lifestyle and symptoms related to IBS, including bloating, gas, abdominal pain, meals, exercise, bowel movements, mood, sleep, stress, medications, and supplements. The core purpose is to help users identify potential triggers and patterns related to their IBS symptoms, ultimately leading to better management and improved quality of life.

Key features, as described, include customizable tracking, personalized insights, and report generation. The customizable tracking allows users to focus on what's relevant to their individual IBS experience, avoiding unnecessary data entry. The personalized insights graph promises to visualize the correlation between tracked factors and symptom changes over time, enabling users to identify triggers and beneficial habits. The exportable PDF report feature is a significant advantage, allowing users to share a concise and organized summary of their data with healthcare professionals, facilitating more informed discussions and potentially leading to quicker and more accurate diagnoses. The app also emphasizes data privacy, stating that user data is encrypted and never sold, which is crucial for sensitive health information. The app's origin, being founded by a registered dietitian specializing in IBS, adds credibility to its approach and features.

Tummily is useful in several scenarios. It's valuable for individuals newly diagnosed with IBS who are trying to understand their triggers. It's also helpful for those who have been managing IBS for a while but are looking for a more systematic and data-driven approach. Furthermore, it's a useful tool for preparing for appointments with doctors or dietitians, enabling users to present a clear and detailed overview of their symptoms and lifestyle factors.

The target audience for Tummily is primarily individuals who suffer from IBS or other gut-related issues. It's suitable for anyone who wants to proactively manage their symptoms, identify triggers, and improve their overall gut health. The app's emphasis on data privacy and its origin from a qualified dietitian makes it particularly appealing to those seeking a trustworthy and evidence-based approach to IBS management.

Overall, based on the description, Tummily presents itself as a promising tool for managing IBS. The customizable tracking, personalized insights, and report generation features seem well-designed to help users understand their condition and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. However, the 0/5 rating raises significant concerns. It's imperative to investigate the reasons behind this rating before considering downloading the app. Potential issues could range from technical glitches and usability problems to inaccuracies in data analysis or privacy concerns not reflected in the description. Despite the appealing features described, the extremely low rating suggests a significant disconnect between the app's intended functionality and its actual performance. Until the issues causing the low rating are addressed, caution is strongly advised.
