Expert Review & Analysis
I finally downloaded this Seller app because my main Facebook messenger was getting totally overwhelmed with "Is this still available?" spam. It was seriously driving me crazy. Having a separate inbox just for Marketplace messages is probably the best part of this app. I can actually see who is actually serious about buying without wading through my personal group chats.
The listing process is decent too. I tapped the "Create Listing" button, uploaded a photo of an old coffee table, and the Meta AI actually filled in a pretty accurate description. It saved me some typing but I still had to go in and fix the price because it guessed way too high.
Its not perfect though. The bulk edit tool for inventory is super laggy on my phone. I tried to select like five items to reprice them at the same time and the screen just froze up for ten seconds. Had to force close the app twice yesterday just to get it to register teh changes. Its definitely better than using the main Facebook app for selling, but they really need to fix these performance bugs before I give it five stars.
