San Japan

Honestly, this is just a reskinned Guidebook app, but it does the job when you're trying to figure out where to go during San Japan. I used it last Labor Day weekend to keep track of the panel schedule and the maps of the convention center. The "My Schedule" tab is super helpful because you can star the events you want to see and it builds a custom timeline for you. That part worked fine and kept me from missing the cosplay contest.

But man, teh interface feels really clunky and outdated. It took forever to load the exhibitor hall map on my phone, and sometimes it would just freeze up when I tried to zoom in. The search bar is also pretty useless, if you don't type the exact name of a panel it wont show up at all. I also kept getting notifications for events that had already ended which got annoying fast. Its okay for a basic schedule check but they really need to optimize it. Just feels a bit unfinished for such a big con.
