Expert Review & Analysis
I downloaded this to track my sister flight coming in last night and honestly its a total mixed bag. The main map screen is actually pretty cool, you can tap on the aircraft radar and see planes moving around in real time which my kid loved watching. Adding her flight to my travel history was easy enough too.
But man, the actual delay alerts are so slow. I was sitting at the gate and the airport board showed a gate change like twenty minutes before this app even updated. It completely missed teh first schedule shift. I had to manually refresh the flight details page three times just to see if it would sync up with what the airline was saying.
Its fine if you just want a quick map to look at or want to save old trips, but do not rely on it for urgent updates. Almost made me go to the wrong terminal because of the lag. Decent layout just needs faster server sync or something.
