Tip Calculator

I downloaded this because I always get stuck doing the math when the bill comes at dinner. Its super fast for just throwing in the total and getting a number back. I usually just tap the 15% button and it tells me exactly what to leave, which is great when you just want to get out of the restaurant.

But teh interface is way too bright when you are in a dimly lit bar. I looked all over the settings screen for a dark mode button but couldn't find one anywhere. It really hurts your eyes when you're trying to pay at night. Also, splitting the bill gets confusing if people ordered different things. It only lets you split the total evenly between everyone. If one person only got a side salad and someone else got a steak, you still have to do the extra math yourself.

Still, it does what it says and saves me from opening my regular calculator app and messing up the decimal points. A decent tool, just needs a few design tweaks to make it perfect.
