Expert Review & Analysis
I downloaded this because my sister flies a lot for work and I'm always the one picking her up from the airport. The live map works pretty well for just tapping on a plane to see where its going and the estimated arrival time. I actually tried the AR camera thing yesterday in my backyard when a big jet flew over. It took a second to calibrate but it actually showed the flight number right there on my screen which was pretty cool.
But the search feature is super frustrating to use. I tried typing in her flight number on the search bar at the top and nothing came up at first, I had to close teh app and reopen it to get the search to actually register my typing. Also, I wish you could set up push notifications for when a bookmarked flight lands, because right now you have to manually open the app and check the progress percentage yourself. It's a decent tracker if you just want to look at the map, but it still feels a little buggy in some places.
